Infants

The infant program is designed to provide an environment that is nurturing, predictable, and responsive. Caregivers work with parents to provide a consistent pattern of care. Infants’ eating and sleeping schedules are individualized to fit their needs. A daily record of each infant’s activities is kept and includes feedings, sleeping patterns, bowel movements, developmental milestones, and activities for the day.

Each day infants will have individual time with their primary caregivers, time with other infants, and individual time for playing and observing. When awake, infants will be held, rocked, placed in a swing or bouncy seat, or placed on the floor. Infants will only be in cribs during naptime.
